About
We are a group of friends who love food and fandoms, so we started this zine company! We create food-based zines/fandom events, be it recipe book zines, food themed events, or gift exchanges!
In the future, we plan to do events for multiple fandoms, such as BNHA, Zelda, DND, etc.
Meet the mods
Mod Peach is a Sero stan first, a mother to several creachers second, and a person third. she grew up with New England homestyle cooking and baking and is excited to branch out into different types of food. Despite watching Naruto and Inuyasha on Toonami as a child, she only recently rediscovered her love of anime with BNHA in the winter 2019.
Mod Peter Henry is a chupacabra from Mexico who is also married to Bakugou Katsuki. He is the one who started this whole thing, and he also owes Peach legal compensation per that one time he accidentally sent a pee joke to the mod group chat.
Mod Vic is a stressed out fic writer who can't settle on a college major to save her life, and the KiriBall to imp's BakuBall. She is the co-head/graphics mod for the Kiribaku Fantasy Bang and a writer for Phoenix: From the Ashes Zine. She grew up cooking with her dad and has a passion for stress-baking, so she's very excited to be a part of this project!
Mod imp is a frog-loving, law-learning, always-suffering university student. They grew up surrounded by Vietnamese and Cantonese cuisine and show how much they care by cooking and baking for their loved ones. They are the BakuBall to Vic's KiriBall and have been creating for the BNHA fandom since the beginning of the 2020 quarantine.

Is there an age restriction on the contributors?
We are accepting contributors that are 13 and older.
Who is creating the recipes? Where are you getting the recipes from?
Base recipes will be taken from reputable sources on the internet (e.g. Babish Culinary Universe). Test chefs will then experiment with said recipes and tweak them according to the character who is inspiring the recipe and also the dietary alternatives we are choosing to include in this zine!
Will drinks/baked goods be included in this recipe zine?

What are the qualifications for writers/artists?
You can find the qualifications for applicants here!
How many contributors will be accepted?
We are two full-page artists, five to seven doodle artists, one to two comic artists, and five to six fic writers!
BNHA Recipe Zine Requirements
Mod
(One position)
We are looking for one additional mod to help with the layout and formatting of the zine. This mod will be asked to adhere to the project’s general rules/code of conduct (foremost, being polite, respectful, and understanding towards other mods and contributors), along with assisting with putting together the PDF for the zine.
For the application, we would like to know about any prior experience (either with fanzines or other design projects). If possible, we would also like to see a sample of a previous work that you were involved in designing/formatting.
Mod applications open November 10th and close December 4th. The mod selected will be contacted via both email and discord.
Full-page artists
(Two positions)
We are looking for two fully rendered art pieces for the zine: one for the cover, and one full-page spread. This piece is also expected to have a background of some kind. Given differences in artistic style, we will not necessarily be requiring linework, but the piece should be neat and finished.
For the application, we would like to see a folio of some kind (a Google Drive folder, art account, or tumblr tag are acceptable), as well as one sample piece that’s fully colored and shaded, with a background. Sample pieces may be NSFW so long as it’s indicated when they’re submitted.
Artist applications open December 6th, and close January 12th. Artists who are selected will be contacted via both email and discord.
Doodle/sketch artists
(Five to seven positions)
We are looking for a series of small, independent sketches, doodles, or miscellaneous pieces of art to be displayed alongside recipes/other zine content. These pieces will not have to be colored or shaded. Collaboration with a fic author is optional, and will be decided at the beginning of the creation period if a pair agrees to work together.
For the application, we would like to see a folio of some kind (a Google Drive folder, art account, or tumblr tag are acceptable), as well as at least two sample pieces showing your style (whether cartoon-y, chibi, or otherwise). Color is encouraged but not required, and shading or backgrounds are not required.
Artist applications open December 6th, and close January 12th. Artists who are selected will be contacted via both email and discord.
Comic artists
(One to two positions)
We are looking for one or two full- or half-page comics with clean linework. Color and shading are optional and not expected. Collaboration with a fic author is optional, and will be decided at the beginning of the creation period if a pair agrees to work together; otherwise, the comics may be about any character or pairing.
For the application, we would like to see a folio of some kind (a Google Drive folder, art account, or tumblr tag are acceptable), as well as a sample piece showing your art style. Color, shading, and backgrounds are not required.

Merch artists
(Two to three positions)
We are looking for one or two pieces of digital merch: phone backgrounds, desktop wallpapers, coloring pages, and/or discord emotes. Collaboration with a fic author is optional, and will be decided at the beginning of the creation period if a pair agrees to work together; otherwise, the merch art may depict any character or pairing.
For the application, we would like to see a folio of some kind (a Google Drive folder, art account, or tumblr tag are acceptable), as well as a sample piece showing your art style. Color, shading, and backgrounds are not required.

Fic writer
(Five to six positions)
We are looking for one fic per author that’s no more than 4k in length. It must be SFW, although canon-typical swearing and mild, non-gorey violence are allowed. The fic may feature a romantic ship, although we would like about half of them to be gen or not ship-centric. For the purpose of this zine, ships between canon minors and adults are not allowed.
For this application, we would like to see a folio of some kind (a Google Drive folder or Ao3 account are preferred), as well as a sample piece no longer than 3k. For the application, pieces may feature any ship, or no ship. M-rated pieces are allowed but should be marked as such and with additional content warnings, E-rated pieces are not allowed.
Author applications open December 6th, and close January 12th. Authors who are selected will be contacted via both email and discord.
